Lawyer Tariel Kakabadze and his associates have been implicated in serious crimes.

Lawyer Tariel Kakabadze has been involved in false advertising. See: False claims declaring Tariel Kakabadze the Best Lawyer of the Year.

A fake Facebook page was created by Kakabadze’s friend, Paata Shavadze, spreading false information and claiming authority. Articles were published about them in online newspapers, causing harm to many citizens.

According to the Bar Ass ociation’s  Ethics  Code, false advertising is punishable, yet no accountability has been demanded from Tariel Kakabadze.

Kakabadze is part of the team of David Asatiani. The Ethics Commission is fully staffed with members from Asatiani’s team, including Kakabadze’s friends, Ekaterine Macharashvili ( Chairperson Konstantine  Gelashvili) and others, effectively eliminating any chance of disciplinary action against him.

As an independent lawyer with many years of experience and contacts with hundreds of thousands of people, I strongly advise avoiding any professional relationship with him.

In a broadcast, Kakabadze’s ex-girlfriend Lika T. spoke publicly about numerous crimes committed against her, allegedly aided by Prosecutor Natia Kartvelishvili and Prosecutor Council Chair Zviad Gubeladze, as well as a State Security Service (SSS) officer.

From this interview, the following emerged:

Kakabadze posted  explicit photos of his ex-girlfriend on an +18 website, including her father’s phone number.

His associates showed her father these photos and videos, saying: “Look at your child.”

The girl was driven to suicide.

Twice, he falsely implicated her in criminal cases, which were dismissed at both the trial and appellate levels after prolonged stress.

The interview also suggests that Kakabadze is protected or manipulated by the prosecution and SSS.

In 2019 and 2020, fake advertising claimed he was “Lawyer of the Year” on Ambebi.ge—violating the Ethics Code. No one held him accountable.

According to my sources, several families have suffered due to him. He charges clients $10–15k, promises success, but they end up serving 12–15 years in prison, even when shorter sentences were possible.

His friends occupy positions in the Ethics Commission, so no disciplinary action is taken.

David Asatiani publicly supports Kakabadze and even posts photos with him, indicating a corrupt network within the Bar Association.

An executive board member of the Bar Association faces serious allegations while the Ethics Commission revokes licenses of lawyers without even preliminary investigations.

In 2022, I exposed connections between Ethics Commission members and prosecutors/SSS, and their illicit activities. In response, Kakabadze’s ally, Konstantine Gelashvili, filed a complaint against me using fabricated evidence, professionally destroying my reputation.

Meanwhile, lawyers with multiple ongoing investigations continue practicing without accountability.

On August 27, 2025, many victims of Kakabadze contacted me directly.

For example, T.S.’s relative said Onise Margian took $13,000 to handle a case across three court instances, with Kakabadze involved. Essential expert evaluations were intentionally skipped, aiding the prosecution, resulting in an 18-year sentence. Margian returned only $3,000, yet the Ethics Commission did not pursue disciplinary action.

This proves the Bar Association, controlled by David Asatiani’s faction, is compromised.

Fact: A lawyer on the executive board has been implicated in pedophilia, ongoing investigations, threats, blackmail, and endangering a girl’s life. The Bar Association’s Chair, David Asatiani, openly supports him.

Kote, David, Tariel, Onise, and your associates—anyone involved in this is complicit in criminal acts.

Selective justice, personal vendettas, and misuse of the disciplinary system are betrayals of professional ethics.

On August 27, 2025, Lasha Janibegashvili stated:

> “I don’t understand this reality. All lawyers who support them insult behind their backs. Kakabadze faces three charges. He posted intimate photos of his ex-girlfriend on erotic websites, adding her father’s number. Twice he falsely implicated her, but she was acquitted. David Asatiani supported him. Such inhumane acts cannot be justified.”

This constitutes a severe crime with no justification, moral or legal.

False advertising declaring him “Lawyer of the Year” on his friend’s Facebook page and Ambebi.ge is a separate ethics violation.

He charges $10–15k from clients, promises victory, and sends them to 10–15 year sentences.
